COVID RECOVERY CORPS STUDY
Survivor Corps is a proud partner of the COVD Recovery Corps study, a joint project with Columbia University and Sage Bionetworks, funded by CZI (Chan Zuckerberg Initiative). It was launched August 2020 to better understand the differences between how individuals recover from COVID-19 infection and what helps or hinders that recovery, linking symptoms with antibody data from participants.
The study is recruiting individuals nationwide. Sign up HERE to confirm eligibility.
Participants must have a prior confirmed COVID diagnosis via PCR or Antibody lab test.
After registering, participants will be invited to take brief surveys that may help scientists begin to answer questions like:
~Why do some people experience very mild symptoms, while others get very sick?
- How does recovering from COVID-19 impact your health over time?
Some participants will be invited to donate blood samples that will help answer important questions including:
- What levels of antibodies are needed to protect us from reinfection?
- Is it possible to develop full immunity to COVID-19?
If you provide a sample, it will be tested for antibodies related to COVID-19 infection. We will share your test results with you, along with information about what those results may mean. As more is learned about the impact of COVID-19 across study participants, we will share regular updates with the broader scientific and patient community. You may also be invited to join other related studies.
