TAKE ACTION

As a recovered COVID-19 Survivor, your blood likely contains antibodies to the disease. By donating your plasma, you can help heal those still suffering from the disease - and save lives. Details and symptoms about your COVID-19 experiences can help guide scientists and researchers. #BeASuperhero!

Survivor Corps is a proud partner of the new “The Fight Is In Us” Coalition - an unprecedented collaboration of leading health and life sciences organizations, and cross-industry partners working together to beat this disease. This section outlines the many options available for you to Take Action against this pandemic, donate plasma, contribute to medical and scientific research - and assist in the national recovery.

Convalescent plasma from COVID-19 Survivors could be a key part of the fight against the new corona virus. Survivor plasma is being collected around the country and follows one of 2 pathways. It is either transfused into patients, or used to make a plasma derived therapy for COVID-19.

Plasma is urgently needed for both treatments. Plasma cannot be made in a lab or by artificial methods; therefore plasma donations from people who have recovered from COVID-19 are essential. Donating plasma is similar to donating blood. It is safe and the process of donating plasma has been used for decades.

Enroll in medical and research studies, donate plasma for clinical trials and help scientists develop treatments and a cure to COVID-19. Your unique experience with COVID-19 can provide the information and data that will inform policy decisions, improve medical practices and contribute to the science and research that could lead us to a vaccine.

Together, we can beat this disease!
